Academic Paper Copyright Transfer Agreement

Journal Submitted To (hereinafter referred to as the "Journal"): "Fisheries Modernization"


The author(s) of the above paper (copyright owner(s)) agree to publish the paper in the "Fisheries Modernization" journal and voluntarily transfer part of the paper's copyright to the "Fisheries Modernization" Editorial Department/Publishing House (hereinafter referred to as the "Journal Publisher") on a global scale after the paper is accepted for publication. The relevant terms are clarified as follows:


1. The author(s) guarantee that the paper is an original work and does not involve any confidential information or multiple submissions. In case of any infringement or breach of confidentiality, the author(s) will bear all responsibilities.


2. All authors agree that once the paper submitted to the Journal is accepted, the author(s) will transfer to the Journal Publisher the full rights of reproduction and dissemination of the paper as a whole, including but not limited to the right of reproduction, distribution, information network dissemination, performance, translation, compilation, adaptation, and other copyright property rights, as well as any figures, tables, abstracts, and enhanced publishing content (such as detailed materials on the research questions, research ideas, methods, processes, data, results, including theoretical derivations and experimental processes, etc.) or other parts that can be extracted from the paper.


3. The author(s) of the paper guarantee that there is no dispute over the authorship. In case of any dispute over authorship, the author(s) will bear the responsibility.


4. The rights transferred under Article 2 of this Agreement shall not be used by the author(s) in any form, either personally or by granting permission to others. However, the author(s) of the paper may cite or translate parts of the paper in their subsequent works or compile it in non-journal anthologies.


5. Transfer Fee: Upon acceptance of the paper, the Journal will pay the author(s) a one-time manuscript fee and transfer fee.


6. Any disputes arising from the implementation of this Agreement shall be resolved through consultation between the parties. In case of failure to reach an agreement, either party may file a lawsuit with the People's Court with jurisdiction in the location of the Journal Publisher.


7. This Agreement shall come into effect upon signature of all authors. The electronic version of the signed Agreement shall be uploaded to the submission system or sent to the Journal Publisher's email. If the submitted paper is not accepted, this Agreement shall automatically become void.
