Expedited Processing Guidelines for Fishery Modernization
To accommodate authors’ specific needs, the following procedures and requirements for expedited manuscript processing are hereby established.
1. Eligibility
Authors may apply for expedited processing if they require publication by a
specific deadline due to academic conferences, project completion, patent
applications, or other valid reasons.
2. Application Process
· Complete the "Expedited Processing Application Form for Fishery Modernization," clearly stating the reason for expedited processing and the expected publication timeline.
· Email the application to the editorial office (fm@fmiri.com) with the subject line: "Expedited Processing Request - [Manuscript ID] - [First Author's Name]".
· The editorial office will review the application and respond within 3 business days. If approved, authors will receive details on fees and next steps. If denied, reasons will be provided, and the manuscript will proceed through standard processing.
3. Expedited Fees
Fees vary based on the processing stage:
· Initial/external review stage: 1,000 RMB/manuscript
· Final review stage: 800 RMB/manuscript
· Typesetting/proofreading stage: 500
RMB/manuscript
Payment methods: Bank transfer or online payment (details provided in
the editorial office’s reply).
4. Author Commitments
· Provide valid reasons for expedited processing.
· Cooperate with the editorial office to meet deadlines for revisions, proofs, and other materials.
· Accept potential additional costs arising from expedited processing.
· Authors bear full responsibility for delayed publication caused by failure to submit required materials on time.
5. Special Notes
· Expedited processing does not guarantee acceptance; final decisions are subject to the official acceptance notice.
· The editorial office is not liable for delays caused by force majeure.
· No fees will be charged if the editorial office fails to fulfill the agreed expedited timeline.
· Interpretation of these guidelines rests solely with the Fishery Modernization editorial office.
