In order to reduce the test errors caused by the extra load on board during the tilt test of small fishing boats, a field control system for the tilt test of fishing boats was used to automate and automate the reading of the pendulum data and to streamline the personnel who had to collect the test data on board. The hardware of the field control system is built by a pendulum system with acceleration sensor, and the software is developed by combining the development environment of C # .NET framework with the Access database. The construction of key databases such as ship-type database and pendulum database and the realization of system control interface are introduced. The system compared with the conventional tilt test which is construced with 2 sets of gravity pendulum without the field control system. The experiment results show that the system can be used to automate the recording of pendulum amplitude, to calculate the angles of tilt and to derive the data files necessary for the calculation of subsequent tilt tests, and ultimately reduce the number of testers on board to zero, effectively reducing test errors and improving tilt test accuracy. The research results can be used as a reference for the tilt test of fishing vessels.
