Design and application of ecological simulated temporary cultivation system of Antarctic krill

Abstract

 In order to facilitate the scientific research on Antarctic krill in the polar region, this paper designs and makes a ecological simulated temporary cultivation system of Antarctic krill. The system is composed of multi-functional removable temporary incubator and ecological environment simulation control system based on Multi-sensor Detection. Through the changeable grid structure design, the temporary incubator provides variable space for the temporary cultivation of krill, which greatly facilitates the observation and research of individual and group behavior of krill. The ecological environment simulation control system realizes the monitoring and automatic control of the water environment of the temporary incubator, such as oxygen content, salinity, pH value, temperature and other parameters. The system has been used in Antarctic scientific research station. The system was used to realize the temporary cultivation of Antarctic krill, and the experiments of individual, group behavior observation and ecological environment parameters changing the ecological performance of Antarctic krill were completed. The experimental results show that the system can meet the needs of scientific research on Antarctic krill research in Antarctica.
