Abstract

In order to solve the problems of long term, poor real-time detection, large data error and high maintenance cost of traditional cage culture water quality testing, a deep-sea cage culture water quality and environment monitoring system based on wireless bridge and Zigbee is designed. The system mainly uses water quality sensors to obtain water quality parameters such as temperature, salinity, turbidity, pH and dissolved oxygen in the cage, and uses underwater cameras to collect image information such as fish condition and environment information in the water. The monitored water quality parameters and image information are transmitted to the shore-based data monitoring center in real time through the wireless bridge, and the monitoring system monitors the changes of the culture environment parameters in real time, and can send control commands to the device through the wireless access point to perform related operations. For example, the monitoring of the water surface of the cage or the underwater environment is achieved by controlling the pan/tilt of the image acquisition device. The result shows that after using the monitoring system, the image information and water quality parameters can be transmitted in real time, and the remote control can be carried out in real time. The control center has data display, historical data view, sound and light alarm in case of abnormal water quality, and other functions. The system has the advantages of simple operation, fast response, low cost and high reliability, and has good promotion and application value.
