In order to improve the performance and effect of pellet feed conveying, an automatic baiting machine with remote pneumatic conveying, which can be controlled centrally, operated at regular time, quantity and speed, was designed to meet the working demand of large intensive deep-sea breeding vessels for baiting operation. The overall structure of the baiter was determined, the design of the key parts of the screw feeder was completed, and the discrete element simulation analysis of EDEM (high performance bulk and granular material simulation software) was carried out. The simulation results show that the feed pellets in the device will not be clogged or stagnated during the process from generation to elimination, and the feeding speed can be controlled by the rotational speed of the spiral shaft, and the feeding speed is stable. when the spiral shaft speed reaches 40 r/min, the feeding speed of 1.5 t/h is satisfied. the design and research provide reference and basis for the design and performance optimization of the subsequent deep-sea culture feeding equipment.
