Abstract

According to the needs of the large-scale development of marine aquaculture, a remote automatic feeding system is designed based on the principle of pneumatic conveying and automatic control technology. The feeding system is composed of a feeding device, feed conveying and distribution device, spreading device, and automatic control device. The designed diameter of the conveying pipeline is 80 mm and the maximum conveying distance is 85 m. The system takes the touch screen as the man-machine interface and PLC as the control core to adjust the feeding rate and distance in real-time according to different feeding needs. The results of the sea trial test show that the feeding system can effectively meet the feeding requirements of the craft aquaculture mode. The feeding efficiency is 0-40 kg/min and the feeding distance is 6-9 m. This study provides a technical reference for off-shore ship aquaculture.
