Abstract

Pond culture has a long history and is the most important aquaculture mode in China. The development of pond culture not only changes the supply pattern of protein in the world, but also makes an important contribution to meet the growing food demand and safety guarantee in China. Modern fishery facilities and equipment play an active and important role in the development of pond culture technology, which is an important prerequisite and guarantee for the intensive and large-scale aquaculture of pond culture industry. This paper reviews the history and current situation of pond culture facilities and equipment in China, expounds the development trend of pond culture facilities and equipment in China by combining the development situation of pond culture abroad, and puts forward relevant research suggestions.
