o study the influence of electric anesthesia technology on the anesthetic effect and blood biochemical indexes of Pearl gentian grouper(♀ Epinephelusfuscoguttatus ×♂ E.lanceolatus), the grouper after being temporarily raised for 24 hours was put into the electric shock box, and the fish was electrocuted with standard pulsed DC voltage. The non electrocuted group was used as the control group, and the anesthetic rate, dormancy time, and 72 h survival rate were calculated as the evaluation indexes of anesthetic effect. Three groups of voltages of 100V, 110V, and 120V were selected to analyze the physiological stress of fish by measuring 6 blood biochemical indexes of glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase, alanine transaminase, lactate dehydrogenase, glucose, lactate, and cortisol in blood within 48 hours The results showed that when the power-on time was constant, the higher the voltage was, the higher the anesthesia rate was, the longer the dormancy time was, and the lower the survival rate was . The three groups (100 V, 110 V, 120 V) can completely anesthetize the Pearl gentian grouper, and the 72 h survival rate is 100%. The average dormancy time of the 100 V experimental group was 17.0 ± 3.84 min, and all biochemical indexes were better than those of other experimental groups; Compared with the control group, except that the value of aspartate aminotransferase increased significantly compared with the control group, the activity of alanine aminotransferase and lactate dehydrogenase were significantly lower than the control group, and the contents of glucose, lactate, and cortisol in serum were not significantly different from the control group. The experiment shows that electric shock with 100 V standard pulse DC for 3 s has no permanent damage to the fish body. It is a short time and less harmful anesthesia method for pearl gentian grouper.
